Saint-Gobain Gyproc AquaLine

AquaLine® is a gypsum board with water repellent additives in the core and encased in a special green paper lining. The board is designed to reduce the absorption of moisture from the surrounding environment while maintaining its form, function and unique features.

While it is universally used in Gyproc® drywall systems for wall linings and ceiling systems to offer moisture resistance, AquaLine® is also highly suitable as a backing board for ceramic tiling in intermittent moisture areas, and also for external soffits in sheltered positions.

CHARACTERISTICS

Gypsum compound and papers are mixed with specially formulated substances to enhance moisture resistance.

RECOMMENDED USE

Universally used for walls and ceiling in intermittent moisture areas e.g bathrooms, toilets and kitchen, and for external soffits in sheltered position.

REACTION TO MOISTURE

The gypsum compound contains silicon oil that reduces moisture absorption.
Water absorption ≤ 5% in compliance to BS EN 520 Class H1
