Handling & Storage

ZinTruss Galvanised High Tensile Lipped Channel should not be allowed to get wet. They should be kept under shed or wrapped under plastic sheets well ventilated and clear form ground to avoid moisture contact. Always keep the Zintruss Galvanised High Tensile Lipped Channel at a slanting angle to let water run off. If bundles become wet, the purlins should be separated, wiped with a dry cloth and placed so that air circulation completes the drying. Do not get in contact with chemicals, dirt, oil based liquids and corrosive vapours. These procedures are recommended to avoid unsightly damage to the coating which could reduce the life-span of the product. Extra care and caution must be taken while handling long length bundles. Lifting should only be carried out using a suitable beam with lifting points and carefully located slings.
